The creative company Clonwerk had some really great ideas about the look & feel of this show.
Together with creative mastermind Romain Sabella, we were able to previz all their requests and special effects before arriving on site.
The complexity of the show sometimes made us use more than 40 layers to get the desired effect.
On top of that, real-time generated fire on the artist’s live image, plexus generative content and much more were used through the use of Notch, programmed by Maarten Francq.
Since the roof and the back wall were moving LED screens, d3’s flexibility made it all (look) quite easy and neat.
To run this show, we used 3 d4pro 4×4 VFC as slaves and understudy and 1x d3 4×4 Pro as a master.
We added 1 midicon pro controller to the system to be able to externally control some live parameters, overall and separate brightness of the LED and notch Fx parameters.
Pictures speak louder than words, so have a look at some video footage.
