Makita 35th Anniversary

On October 27, in Kortenberg, Makita Power Tools celebrated their 35th anniversary.
At this occasion, 24seven organized in the brand new building of Makita, a dinner for 380 persons and asked our technical support to create video projections on the tables.
That’s right, on the tables! Have you already seen that before?
Jo Pauly, our video expert, explains. “We use 20x Panasonic PTD6710 projectors.
Every projector was positioned exactly perpendicular and on-axis to the table. Each table was 6,0m x 1,5m tall. Due to the high production cost, we had to do the show with 1 projector/table instead of the desired 2 projectors/table. We used the PRG Mbox Extreme media server to play a file with 1920 pixels wide and the according height to fit the table. Pixels were large, but during the tests we managed to work around that by wisely create the image content.
All projectors had a custom build hanging bracket to geometrically adjust the image to the maximum, due to the 0.8 lens we had to use! Basically, not too difficult, once the preproduction is done well.”
